Under organic conversions, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties are blended in varying proportions to make the iconic Mudgee Blue. 80% Shiraz stored in 500 litre French and American oak puncheons blended with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon matured in new French oak puncheons for 12 months.
Planted on rich red earth, the vineyard is 3kms from the LOWE Winery. These old vines produce beautiful wines of concentrations and slow ageing, and in this case, up to and beyond 2030.
