2022 Gilbert Chardonnay

Aromas of succulent nectarine and citrus, this wine has a pristine mineral flavour. Delight in this barrel fermented wine with an elegant mouth feel. Layers of fruit marry well with the fine texture of French oak.  

Handpicked and hand sorted at harvest, these grapes were harvested in small lots in the early morning to take advantage of the cool morning temperatures. The fruit was whole bunch crushed and pressed, separating the free-run from the pressings. 

A rich baked salmon dish with green herb sauce would complement the palate roundness of this wine.
