Robert Stein Montepulciano


"This is our first ever vintage of Montepulciano at Robert Stein which has been made from the fruit planted by our family in 2016.  Fermented in steel, with 5% whole bunch, it was pressed off and matured in two seasoned French oak hogsheads for 8 months for softness and to allow the natural fruit flavours to shine through.

This is an incredibly limited release with only 60 cases being made.

Aromas of red fruit and rosemary with flavours of red plum, black cherry, blackberry & thyme.  This wine is made to be enjoyed young and fresh as a lighter red, particularly great through those warmer Spring & Summer months."
